On November 6, 2015, District Two Street Crime deputies and detectives concluded a two month long investigation involving the illegal sale of synthetic marijuana (Spice). Multiple purchases of spice, along with drug paraphernalia, were made from Alpa Chino Smoke Shop and The Smoke Shop in Seffner. The Smoke Shop is owned by Michael Tucker while the Alpa Chino Smoke Shops if owned and operated by Deeb Aliwaiwi. Through a lengthy investigation, deputies collected evidence to obtain a search warrant for each business.

Alpha Chino Smoke Shop; 1214 Martin Luther King Blvd, Seffner, Fl:
Seized from within the business were 26 packets of synthetic marijuana (Spice), weighing approximately 203 grams, 742 pipes (drug paraphernalia), and $1200.00. One customer who was located within the building, was found to be in possession of one packet (14.9 grams) of synthetic marijuana. No arrests were made at this location. Charges related to the seized Spice materials are pending lab testing results.
The Smoke Shop; 1115 Martin Luther King Blvd, Seffner, Fl:
162 packets of synthetic marijuana (Spice) were seized from within the business, weighing approximately 2159 grams. 475 pipes (drug paraphernalia) were also seized from within the business. No arrests were made at this location. Charges related to the seized Spice materials are pending lab testing results.
