On November 6 at 10:30 am, HCSO deputies from Uniformed Patrol District IV surprised a 6-year-old boy named "Vincent" behind Sheriff's Office located at 2310 N. Falkenburg Road in Tampa. Vincent has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor has been receiving extensive chemo therapy.
Deputy Derrick Locket knew of his love and admiration for law enforcement officers and particularly SWAT officers. Deputy Lockett recently learned that Vincent missed a SWAT presentation at a career day at the Children Cancer Center due to his chemo therapy treatments.
Vincent was greeted during a special presentation by members of HCSO SWAT Team with their SWAT vehicle, uniformed patrol deputies and a group of his family and friends.
Deputies delivered an electric toy car donated by Wal-Mart and assembled by HCSO automotive teams and marked with HCSO decals.
