Details:
On November 20, 2015 at approximately 11:45 pm, the victim, Gregory Mills Jr, parked his black 2007 Chevrolet Impala in the parking lot of the Sunoco Gas Station, located at 6904 N. 56th Street with the engine running. The victim went inside the store and when he returned to his car, he found Shawn Lowman in the driver seat and Javeon Morice in the front passenger seat.
Javeon Morice immediately fled from the vehicle, while Lowman pulled out a chrome semi-automatic handgun an pointed it at the victim. The victim backed away and the suspect drove away in the victim's vehicle.
During the course of the investigation, detectives learned that the suspects may live within the City of Tampa. Detective contacted the Tampa Police Department and together, additional information was developed that lead to the identities of Lowman and Morice. Both individuals were arrested at their residences without incident.
Detectives believe other unidentified individuals may be involved after Lowman and Morice were seen nearby just prior to the incident, exiting a black four door sedan.
