6909 Palifox River Drive
On September 23, 2015 at approximately 3:05 pm, deputies responded to King High School located at 6815 North 56th Street in Tampa in reference to an aggravated battery incident. During the incident the 14-year-old victim was leaving King High School when she and her friends were involved in a mutual affray with unidentified female suspects. During the fight an unknown female suspect approached the victim and the two became engaged in a mutual physical altercation. At one point during the physical altercation, the suspect armed herself with a knife which was concealed in her shirt. The suspect then utilized the knife and cut the victim on the interior portion of her left forearm area. The victim sustained a severe laceration and was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital with non life threatening injuries. The victim required approximately 13 sutures in order to close the wound.
Intelligence through a confidential source was gathered in the form of a still picture, which showed the victim and suspect engaged in the fight while the suspect was holding the knife in her right hand. The suspect was identified and was taken into custody on September 28, 2015 charged with Aggravated Battery with a deadly weapon.
