- Black male, thin build, 20-25 years of age, dreadlocks, gold grill in mouth, tattoos down both arms. Last seen wearing a red and black baseball cap, a black shirt and blue pants.
- White or light gray Mitsubishi (unknown model) or Dodge Avenger, 4-door, tinted windows, spoiler on trunk.
Deputy Thomas Paradiso
District I / 7.5 yr veteran
At approximately 7:25 a.m., Deputy Thomas Paradiso was conducting a vehicle stop at Morris Bridge Road and Copeland Road when he heard several vehicles honking their horns. Deputy Paradiso noticed a white vehicle possibly a Mitsubishi stopped in the roadway. Deputy Paradiso made contact with the driver and attempted to obtain his information. The driver had preliminary signs of impairment. He became combative and fled southbound on Morris Bridge Road. The rear tire of the suspect's vehicle ran over Deputy Paradiso's foot, while the rear bumper clipped his hip. Deputy Paradiso was transported for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. At this time the suspect remains at large.
