    Two Arrests In Multiple Vehicle Burglaries

    Several of the victims' property items were recovered.

    Charge: Burglary Conveyance x5, Grand Theft Auto, Grand Theft

    Details:

    Between 04/12/16, at 11:00 pm, and 04/13/16, at 5:30 am, Zachary Heatherley and Nicholas Spencer unlawfully entered a 1997 Honda Accord, a 2014 Dodge Power Ram, a 2000 Ford Windstar, and a 2010 Toyota Camry within the South Pointe Subdivision. Once inside the vehicles, Zachary Heatherley and Nicholas Spencer unlawfully removed several of the victims' personal items to include a set of keys to a fifth vehicle belonging to one of the victims, iPad, Laptop and iPhone. Zachary Heatherley and Nicholas Spencer then entered the fifth vehicle, a 2016 Toyota Tundra and fled the incident scene.

    On 04/14/16, several of the victims' property items were recovered from a vacant house directly across the street from Nicholas Spencer's residence. Through investigations Detectives were able to identify Nicholas Spencer as suspect.  At 3:07 pm, Zachary Heatherley and Nicholas Spencer were located inside the victim's stolen 2016 Toyota Tundra in a parking lot in the area of US Hwy 301 and Big Bend Rd close to where the incidents occurred.  This incident was investigated by District 4 Investigations and District 4 Intelligence Led Policing.
