Deputies Located These Items On Suspect:
On August 2, 2016 Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, District Two Community Resource Deputies were conducting proactive patrols in the area of Gornto Lake Road and Causeway Blvd in Brandon in response to numerous complaints into persons interrupting traffic as they panhandle for money. At 3:51 pm deputies came in contact with James Williams Jr. and learned that he had outstanding warrants for Violation of Probation for several narcotics related offenses. Williams was taken into custody without incident and found to be in possession of a Cobra .32 cal. Handgun, ammunition, a quantity o marijuana packaged in a manner indicative of sale and/or distribution, and a sign that read “Homeless, Need Help, Thanks and God Bless”. Williams was also found to be in possession of several credit cards and identification cards belonging to other people. Detectives are following up on the credit and identification cards to determine how they were obtained.
