Deputies responded to a home on Clermont Street in reference to a Domestic Dispute between Marta and Raymond Howell and their adult daughter. The adult daughter left the home without incident. While on scene Deputies Troy Fallin and Daniel Dominguez began talking with Raymond and Marta. They have been married for 17 years. Raymond was paralyzed from the chest down last May 2015 after being struck by a car. His wife Marta has health issues causing both to be on disability. They bought a fixer up home just prior to the accident which needs air conditioning and heat. Their home doesn't have a working unit. Now that Raymond is paralyzed and finances are tight they are unable to repair the A/C - heating unit. Deputies decided that with no heat and temperatures dropping this family needed help. They drove to Home Depot and bought a floor heater for them so that the couple wouldn't struggle any further and complicate there illnesses. The couple made mention that they were going to purchase one when their disability check came. So these deputies sprung into action.
Deputies delivered the door heater and installed it for them.
