Second suspect arrested in residential burglary in which firearms were taken.
Stephen Gladu was arrested on June 21, 2016 at 7:30 pm at 6010 Highland Avenue North. A warrant had been issued for his arrest.
Charges: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Controlled Substance, Armed Burglary of a Dwelling, Grand Theft Firearm (4 Counts), Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Dealing in Stolen Property

On June 13, 2016, a burglary was committed in the Riverview community in which 4 firearms were taken from a residence. Deputies responded and initiated an investigation. While detectives were investigating the case, investigators received information from Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay which provided the whereabouts of the suspects involved in the gun theft and some of the firearms. Deputies responded and were able to recover two (2) of the stolen firearms (Marlin .22 and a Remington 300 Win Mag) and arrest one of the suspects involved, Ryan Williams. The investigation continued and resulted in the identification of Stephen Gladu as the second suspect, who now has an active warrant for felony charges.
This case is another example of the team work of law enforcement with the assistance from the citizens of Hillsborough County helping in solving a case.
