    HCSO Detectives Arrest Juvenile Burglars

    They were driving a stolen vehicle.

    Details:

    Hillsborough County, FL - On May 24, 2016, a deputy spotted Andrew Feldman and Zachary Heatherly in a stolen Mitsubishi Mirage in a parking lot near US Hwy 301 and Riverview Dr. Deputies converged upon the car and apprehended Feldman while Heatherly fled on foot. Heatherly was captured a few minutes later after a brief foot chase.

    Upon arrest, the suspects were found in possession of stolen property from a nearby residential burglary. Deputies located additional stolen property inside the vehicle which was reported stolen in Clearwater, FL.

    The stolen property included a computer, credit cards, watches, a flashlight, gloves, jewelry, and a firearm. The total value of the recovered stolen property not including the stolen vehicle, valued over $10,000 dollars.

    Interviews were conducted and the suspects admitted to additional auto thefts, residential burglaries, and the burglary of a conveyances. Additional charges are pending.

    The investigation continues.
