On 09/07/16 at approximately 1:18 a.m., Letroy Mosley unlawfully entered the victim's unlocked Nissan Murano within the Estates at South Cove subdivision. Once inside, Mosley removed keys and a wallet. He then went to the Speedway located at 13179 301 HW S, Riverview, FL and unlawfully used the victim's credit card twice and also used the credit card at the nearby Walgreens. The incident at Speedway was captured on security video.
The defendant returned to the victim's residence several hours later, driving a stolen blue Honda Civic, and approached the front door. The victim's security camera captured the defendant approach the front door and then unlawfully enter the residence to remove property, including an XBOX ONE, with a total approximate value of $1,455.
On 09/11/16, the defendant was arrested by Seminole Tribe Police for Grand Theft Auto of the blue Honda Civic. Inside the Honda was the victim's XBOX ONE and other items.
The defendant is currently jailed at Sarasota County Jail. The defendant has an extensive criminal history and was released from FDOC custody on 07/01/2016.
