Motorcyclist suffers fatal injuries.

On August 30, 2017 at 4:56 pm, Jean Andre was driving a 2001 Honda CBR900 motorcycle eastbound on Ehrlich Road at a high rate of speed, swerving in and out of traffic approaching Farmington Boulevard. Raul Boucourt was driving an Audi A4 sedan southbound on Farmington Boulevard preparing to turn left onto Ehrlich Road. Jessica Marketta was driving a 2003 Nissan Xterra northbound on Farmington Boulevard preparing to turn left onto westbound Ehrlich Road.
According to a witness, the traffic light for Mr. Andre turned red before he entered the intersection and traffic on Farmington Boulevard had started their left turns. The motorcycle struck the front of the Xterra and then the right rear passenger side of the Audi. Mr. Andre was thrown from the motorcycle east and died at the scene. None of the other drivers or occupants were injured. Marijuana and alcohol were found in the backpack of Mr. Andre. Mr. Andre was wearing a helmet. No charges are expected in this case. Next of kin has been notified.
The investigation continues.
