Deputies are looking for an unknown, Hispanic male, with arm tattoos and closely cropped hair in connection with a theft of merchandise worth $2,097 and two attempted thefts valued at $846 between October and November of this year. The man is suspected of stealing a Hewlett Packard computer and Samsung high-definition television on October 20th from the Walmart located in Wimauma at 4928 674 Highway. The man was seen entering the passenger seat of a silver, unknown make and model four-door sedan.
At approximately 4 p.m. on November 17, the same man is suspected of attempting to leave the same Walmart in Wimauma without paying for a $398, 55-inch Philips 4K high-definition television. Store security personnel confronted the man causing him to abandon the property and leave in a black 2006-2010 Ford Edge. Later that evening, the same man was seen at the Walmart located at 9205 Gibsonton Drive, trying to leave the store without paying for a 49-inch LG Ultra high-definition television valued at $448. Once again, store personnel challenged the suspect and he fled in a 2006-2010 black Ford Edge with the license tag covered.
