    Warrant Issued For Attempted Homicide Suspect

    Description: Black Male, 5’8”, 175 lbs, black hair, brown eyes, “Drak” tattoo on right hand “Boy” tatoo on left hand

    Charges: Attempted Felony Murder, Armed Residential Burglary and Grand Theft

    Charges: Attempted Felony Murder, Armed Burglary of a Dwelling, Grand Theft Third Degree, Resist Officer w/o Violence (Warrant), Poss of Marijuana (Warrant), Poss of Drug Paraphernalia (Warrant)
     

    Details:

    HCSO Detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating Darren “Fatboy” Gipson who is wanted for attempted murder. On October 22, 2017, Gipson and Reginald Brown held eight people at gunpoint on the ground while they robbed them. During the robbery, one of the suspects fired a shot from his rifle hitting a victim in his head causing him life threatening injuries. The suspects stole an undetermined amount of cash along with the victims’ cell phones. Reginald Brown was arrested January 31, 2018 and remains in jail with no bond.

    Gipson is a member of the Drak gang, has an extensive criminal history and is currently on felony probation for Battery on Law Enforcement. He was released from prison October 2, 2017 less than 3 weeks before this incident occurred. He was in prison for felony battery, two counts of batter on law enforcement and resist with violence. He has a total of 8 felony convictions in Florida.
