Deputies identified the suspect as Michael Clark. He was arrested on April 9 at 6:00 pm at 1403 Fowler Avenue East.
Charges: Armed Burglary of a Structure and Robbery (Firearm less than $300)
Black male, 28-35 years, 6', 200 lbs. Last seen wearing white t-shirt, gray shorts, black shoes and black hat (possibly a St. Louis Blues)
Weapon: Black in color handgun with orange tip
On April 5, 2018, the black male suspect entered the Dollar Tree located at 3603 Waters Avenue West just before closing. As the store closed, the suspect hid in the rear storage room until 4:15 am on April 6. Employees opening the store came in contact with the suspect in the rear storage room. After confronting the employees, the suspect fled through the rear door on foot. The suspect had a black in color handgun, with an orange tip, tucked into his pants.
