    Two Juveniles Arrested For Criminal Mischief

    The juvenile defendants also permanently damaged multiple vehicle tires in the Riverview area on various dates.

    15-year-old male juvenile

    Charges:
    Burglary of an Unoccupied Conveyance (3 Counts), Criminal Mischief $1000 or more (2 Counts), Criminal Mischief $200 or less (5 Counts), Criminal Mischief (More than $200 less than $1000) (3 Counts)

     

    16-year-old male juvenile

    Charges:
    Burglary of an Unoccupied Conveyance (3 Counts), Criminal Mischief $1000 or more (2 Counts), Criminal Mischief $200 or less (5 Counts), Criminal Mischief (More than $200 less than $1000) (3 Counts)

     

    Details:

    Between 04/14/18, and 04/15/18, two juveniles defendants intentionally entered an unlocked vehicle (within the Rivercrest Subdivision), and placed a running water hose inside the vehicle, causing the vehicle to fill with water. The offense caused approximately $2000 in damage to the vehicle.

    Between 04/20/18, and 04/21/18, (within the Moss Landing Subdivision) two juveniles defendants intentionally entered an unlocked vehicle. Once inside, they dumped multiple bags of soil on the interior and placed a running water hose inside the vehicle, causing the vehicle to fill with water. The offense caused approximately $1000 in damage to the vehicle.

    During the same time frame (within the same subdivision), they also entered another unlocked vehicle and poured motor oil on the interior of the vehicle. The offense caused approximately $1000 in damage to the vehicle. The juvenile defendants also permanently damaged multiple vehicle tires in the Riverview area on various dates.

    The defendants were arrested without incident and booked into the Hillsborough County Juvenile Assessment Center.
