Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office deputies have identified the suspects. Andrew Wilson (DOB: 7/26/01) and Rodney McCall (DOB: 10/26/00) have been arrested in relation to the case referenced in this update. Both were charged with the following felonies:
- 10 total counts vehicle burglary
- 3 counts grand theft auto
- 1 count of fraudulent use of credit card
- 1 count of burglary of an occupied residence.
All vehicles were recovered.
Suspect #1: Black male, 5'06”, 200 lbs., wearing a dark sweatshirt and jean shorts that are ripped.
Suspect #2: Black male, 18-20 years, 5'06”, 200 lbs., wearing a dark sweatshirt and tan shorts.
Vehicle: Unknown year Nissan Altima – dark gray
Stolen Vehicle: Black 2012 Hyundai Sonata, Air Force FL tag A J D 5 W
Between January 26, 2018 at approximately 10:00 pm., and January 27, 2018 at approximately 9:46 a.m., two suspects unlawfully entered several unlocked vehicles within the “Waterset” subdivision area. Surveillance video shows two black males committing the burglaries and a dark gray Nissan Altima following them through the neighborhood. During the burglaries, the suspects obtained keys to a black 2012 Hyundai Sonata and committed auto theft. The suspects then used a stolen credit card that was removed from one of the vehicles to purchase a Play Station game console at Walmart located at 4928 674 Highway in Wimauma.
