Peter Gonzalez was arrested this afternoon for the robbery of Wells Fargo Bank in Sun City Center this past Monday.
HCSO detectives obtained an arrest warrant today based on evidence from the crime scene which lead to the identification of Gonzalez. With the assistance of the Pasco County Sheriff's Office and the New Port Richey Police Department, Gonzalez was arrested around 1:00 p.m. without incident during a traffic stop near the intersection of Poinsettia Drive and Grand Boulevard in New Port Richey. Gonzalez is currently located in the Pasco County Jail.

Details (News Release 18-443):
At approximately 4:54 p.m. today, a white Hispanic male entered the Wells Fargo Bank in Sun City Center and passed a note to the teller demanding that she stay quiet and give him money. The suspect fled on foot southbound from the bank with an undetermined amount of money. The suspect may be linked to bank robberies in Kissimmee and Sarasota, where he was seen driving a maroon Kia.
