    Surveillance Video:

    Details:

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is working to identify five subjects, four males and one female believed to be in their late teens, who were caught on surveillance video approaching homes in a Valrico neighborhood, possible checking the door handles, then running away.

Around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, surveillance video from a home on the 3000 block of Anna George Drive recorded five unknown subjects walking down the neighborhood street as a group and then spreading out towards driveways. One of the male subjects is seen approaching the front door of a home and concealing his face. The subject rang the doorbell then ran away along with the other four subjects. Nothing was stolen during the incident.

Detectives are working to determine if the incident is linked to burglary that occurred the previous night, March 15, at another home on the 3000 block of Anna George Drive. The homeowner reported waking up to the sound of her dog barking. She later realized her front door was open and her cat was outside. The next day, the homeowner reported that a pair of walkie talkies and a Ninja Net toy, two items she left sitting by the front door, were missing. Deputies located the stolen toys a block over on Bright Sky Trail by another homeowner's gate.

It is unclear at this time of the five subjects seen on video are linked to the burglary incident. Detectives want to identify and interview the subjects.
