The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office hosted a military shooting competition on Nov. 3, 2012 at our Walter C. Heinrich Practical Training Site in Litha. The event, presented by the Black Dagger Military Hunt Club and Rolling Thunder, Florida Chapter 11, was called the "Military Heroes Top Shot.''

The competition was inspired by the A&E's Top Shot television series on the History Channel. Twenty wounded and retired warriors put their shooting skills to the test in a variety of scenarios. The Sheriff's Office was honored to have helped Black Dagger and Rolling Thunder with this event.
