If you are sure that you qualify, call
813-247-0870 and get scheduled to take the Physical Abilities Assessment (PAA). You may reach us
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
This assessment is designed to measure a candidate's aerobic capacity while also measuring their core and upper body strength. Applicants that do not pass the PAA will not continue with the process. Failure to meet any one of the minimum requirements will result in your failure of the PAA. It is not at all uncommon for candidates to arrive for the Physical Abilities Assessment when they are incapable of successfully completing the tasks. Make sure that you know you are physically capable of completing this process.
You must bring a completed PAA medical clearance form signed by your physician stating that you are physically capable of participating in the testing. Failure to bring the signed form will result in the candidate being rescheduled.

This assessment is designed to measure a candidate's aerobic capacity while also measuring their core and upper body strength. Applicants that do not pass the PAA will not continue with the process. Failure to meet any one of the minimum requirements will result in your not passing of the PAA.

- 25 Sit-ups in One Minute (Minimum)
