Why/How:

On Friday, May 11, 2007, at 6:00 p.m. representatives from Yard Guards on Doody and the Police K9 Foundation will make a presentation to some special members of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. (15) K-9 bullet/stab resistant vest will be presented to Sheriff’s Office K-9 deputies for use by their K-9 partners.
After the death of Polk County Deputy Matt Williams and his K9 partner DiOGi in September of 2006 and the generous outpouring of love and donations coming in to the family of Deputy Williams, the owner of Yard Guards on Doody thought it would be nice to do something to honor DiOGi and assist other agencies K-9 units.
