Crystal Clark currently serves as a Public Affairs Coordinator for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. She came to the agency with nearly a decade of television news media experience, including her time as a reporter at Fox 13 News in Tampa. Crystal’s training as a writer, video photographer and video editor allows her to serve as an internal reporter for HCSO, producing video content for the Sheriff’s Office social media pages that highlights the great work of deputies and gives the public a behind-the-scenes look at the Sheriff’s Office, its personnel and its crime-fighting efforts. She is a graduate of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Media Communications.

    Amanda Granit
    Public Relations Coordinator

Amanda Granit joined HCSO in March of 2019. Before joining the agency, she worked for nearly a decade as an award-winning journalist. During that time -- Amanda reported on the capture of Osama bin Laden, from NYC in May of 2011. She worked on an investigative team that uncovered government mismanagement and abuse of tax payer dollars in New York State. For those efforts, Amanda received a NYS Emmy and National Edward R, Murrow for Best Evening Newscast, as well as a National Edward R. Murrow for Excellence in Individual Reporting. While Amanda was a TV news reporter, she had a little fun too, flying with the Blue Angels. Amanda even repelled down the outside of a 22-story building, raising money for the Boy Scouts of America, all on live on TV. Originally from Upstate New York, Amanda is happy to have traded her snow boots for sandals. When she is not at work Amanda enjoys cooking, running and spending time with her family.

Amanda is thrilled to be part of Team HCSO.
