Our volunteers serve a very important role in the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.  Their efforts enable us to operate more efficiently by focusing on our law enforcement responsibilities to the community.

If you are interested in joining the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office as a volunteer, have we got a great job for you!  Whether you are looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community or you are interested in learning more about law enforcement as a future career, we have a variety of assignments where you can really make a difference.

 Qualifications for Volunteering

• At least 19 years of age

• United States citizen

• Successfully pass a background investigation
