On April 19, 2015, just before 10 am, Xavier R. Williams, the two victims and several other individuals were standing outside 5507 Baptist Church Road, Lot 14 when an argument broke out between Williams and the two victims.

During the argument, Williams pulled out a knife and stabbed both victims causing serious injuries. Everyone present including the suspect and two victims fled the scene and scattered to other areas within the trailer park. Michael Stearns managed to run to 5507 Baptist Church Road, Lot 8 where he met up with Christopher Judson.

Shortly after deputies arrived on scene, they noticed that a trailer at Lot 8 was on fire. When they responded to that location, they found victim Michael Stearns with Christopher Judson who resided at Lot 8.

During interviews, Judson told deputies "he intentionally lit a comforter on fire inside his trailer to signal law enforcement that Michael Stearns was at his trailer". Judson later mentioned he may have had drugs in his trailer prior to the fire being started.

Detectives believe Judson feared Stearns' arrival at his trailer would draw unwanted attention to his drug possession inside his trailer and he started the fire to conceal any evidence.

Both victims are currently listed in stable condition at a local hospital. Xavier Williams was arrested and booked into the Orient Road Jail.

Detectives believe the motives that caused this sequence of events stems from illegal drug activity involving Methamphetamine.

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue arson investigators assisted in this investigation.

    The investigation continues.
