- Felon in Possession of a Firearm

The following information is what's known at the time of this release and is subject to change as the investigation continues;
Hillsborough County, FL - Detectives are conducting an investigation that involved two groups of individuals who are known to each other and who ended up in a altercation that ended with the death of one man. On 06/04/2016 at approximately 12:45 am, the two groups of individuals in separate cars, ended up in the intersection of Sassey Court and Cujoe Lane in Gibsonton.
At this location, Marco Roque exited out of one of the vehicles carrying a baseball bat. Roque walked over and proceeded to strike the front windshield of the other vehicle, shattering the glass. Dormany while inside the vehicle struck by Roque, pulled out a handgun and shot Roque at least once in the upper body. Roque managed to get back into his vehicle and was driven to a local hospital where he was dropped off and later died. Throughout the investigation, detectives located Dormany, the vehicle he was in and the firearm.
Detectives have reviewed the current evidence and conducted multiple interviews and learned in part that Dormany was a convicted felon. Dormany was charged with one count of Felon In Possession of a Firearm.
Once the investigation is completed, the case will be presented to the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office who will review the circumstances and make a final determination of any additional charges will be filed.
Dormany was arrested without incident and booked into the Hillsborough County Jail.
