Student Arrested In Stabbing
Student stabs another student multiple times.

Charges: Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Tampering with Evidence and Possession of a Weapon on School Grounds.
On May 5, 2016 at approximately 2:00 p.m. at Wharton High School, student Angel Delmonte got into a verbal confrontation with another student, William Sanders. The fight became physical and Delmonte armed himself with a steak knife that he had on his person. He stabbed the victim multiple times causing non-life threatening injuries. Delmonte then concealed the knife in the nearby boys' bathroom trashcan. Sanders was transported to TGH. The knife was recovered at the scene.
Delmonte was charged with Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Tampering with Evidence and Possession of a Weapon on School Grounds.
