Black male, approximately 6'1”, 25 – 30 years of age, trimmed beard. Wearing a dark blue hat, black t-shirt, dark long pants and black shoes.

On September 6, 2016 at approximately 7:11 pm, an unidentified black male suspect stole two pieces of jewelry, a gold necklace and bracelet (valued at approximately $23,485) from the Mirage Diamonds & Fine Jewelry store. After grabbing the jewelry, the suspect ran outside while an employee of the jewelry store gave chase. The suspect then entered a silver, newer model Chevrolet Camaro at which time the employee confronted the suspect and latched onto the vehicle's hood. The vehicle fled northbound towards Brandon Boulevard with the employee on the hood. The employee was thrown off of the vehicle at the intersection of Brandon Boulevard West and Brandon Town Center Drive. The vehicle was last seen getting onto Interstate 75 northbound.
The employee suffered life threatening injuries and was transported to Tampa General Hospital.
