Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating a hit and run that occurred March 7, 2017 at 5:48 am in the area of Park Drive in Riverview.
The juvenile was walking westbound along the south shoulder of Park Drive on her way to the Hartline bus stop at Highway 301 and Balm Riverview road when she was struck by a passing westbound vehicle which subsequently fled the scene without stopping or rendering aid. The juvenile was transported to Tampa General Hospital with serious non life threatening injuries. During the course of the investigation, vehicle parts found at the scene were identified by a local Ford dealership as belonging to a 2005 Ford F-250 XLT, possibly green in color.
