Detectives have identified Derrick Leon as the suspect in Tuesday's shooting and have issued a warrant for his arrest.

2001 White, Dodge Caravan, TAG # HSP E15, possibly heading to Polk County.
Charges: Aggravated Battery with a Firearm, Aggravated Assault (x2), Shooting Into An Occupied Dwelling.
Hispanic male, 5'5", 135 lbs., brown hair, brown eyes, thin mustache, thin build. Last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, gray running shorts, black/gold shirt with Egyptians icons on front, possibly armed with a Glock 21 handgun .45 caliber.
Silver or gray 4-door sedan

On October 24, 2017 at 8:41 a.m., an unknown Hispanic male fired at a mobile home, located at 2704 Quail Oaks Drive, and struck Martin Estrada, causing serious injuries. The suspect then fled the area in a silver, 4-door sedan. Estrada was transported to Lakeland Regional Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
