    Woman Charged With Manslaughter

    She admitted to being involved in a domestic dispute with the victim.

    On August 20, 2018, at approximately 7:44 p.m., deputies responded to a suicide attempt at 11302 N. U.S. 301 Hwy. in Thonotosassa. Rebekah K. Dean stated that her boyfriend, Thimothy S. Passmore, shot himself within their residence. Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded and the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.


    Based on forensics and inconsistencies with the Dean’s statements during interviews and reenactments, detectives consulted with the State Attorney’s Office and charged Dean with Manslaughter with a Weapon. She admitted to being under the influence of methamphetamine at the time of the shooting and that she and the victim were involved in a domestic dispute.
