Graduating cadets have completed 22 weeks of Academy and Modular Training.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office and Sheriff Chad Chronister welcome all media to attend as detention cadets receive their stars from Sheriff Chronister and take their oath to become the newest generation of Sheriff's Deputies. The ceremony will take place on Friday, December 21 at 10:00 a.m. at the Falkenburg Road Jail Assembly Room, 520 Falkenburg Rd.
Graduating cadets have completed 22 weeks of Academy and Modular Training to indoctrinate them into the lifestyle and culture of being a Detention Deputy. Cadets have also made achievements by way of physical fitness and training
Attendees will see 31 graduating cadets who have made commitment to serve their communities. Among the graduating class - 6 military veterans, 5 pre-certified correction officers from (2) Polk County, (2) Pinellas County, and (1) Orange County.
