A Crime Stoppers tip led HCSO deputies to identify Warren Maxwell as the suspect.
A Crime Stoppers tip led Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office deputies to identify Warren Maxwell as the suspect wanted in connection to the Wells Fargo bank robbery. HCSO deputies issued a warrant for Maxwell and Fort Myers Police Department arrested Warren on February 17, 2018. Warren is currently being held in the Lee County Jail.

On February 13, 2018, at approximately 2:00 p.m., an unidentified black male suspect entered the Wells Fargo Bank located at 12233 Florida Avenue N in Tampa, and demanded an undisclosed amount of United States currency. After obtaining the currency, the suspect fled the bank traveling southbound.
