    Cheer Coach Faces New Charges After Additional Victim Identified

    He admitted communicating with the minor through SnapChat.

    During the course of this investigation, HCSO Detectives have identified a second victim. In the early parts of June 2018, Victor Martin Valenty had inappropriate sexual contact with a 17-year-old, female victim. Valenty, 28, admitted communicating with the minor through SnapChat and the telephone before picking her up in Hillsborough and taking her back to his residence in Pinellas County. As in the first case we published earlier this week, the victim was known to him through his position as a cheerleading coach at Storm All Stars Cheer and Dance, 514 Corner Drive in Brandon, Florida.

    Yesterday, the Pinellas County Sheriff charged Valenty with crimes that took
    place in their jurisdiction related to the original case that we announced on June 21, 2018. Our original release is included below.

    Details (News Release 18-554):

    Between March or April 2016 until May 2017, the victim received multiple sexually explicit images of Victor Valenty through SnapChat. Between August 2016 through May 2017, Valenty traveled from his residence, within Pinellas County, to different locations within Hillsborough County to pick up the victim and take her back to his residence to engage in sexual activity.

    Valenty is a cheerleading coach at Storm All Stars in Brandon, where he met the victim. Valenty admitted to sending and receiving pictures to her. He also stated he drove from his residence in Pinellas County to pick her up in Hillsborough County and drove her back to his residence.

    Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is currently conducting their own investigation. Further charges may be pending.
