Charges: Leaving the Scene of a Crash with Serious Bodily Injury, Reckless Driving with Serious Bodily Injury and Driving with License Canceled, Suspended or Revoked and Tampering with Physical Evidence (Destroy)
Throughout the course of the investigation, detectives learned that Robert Devon Siders (DOB: 03/01/88) was driving his 2004 Chevrolet Silverado when it crashed into the residence located at 12428 Pepperfield Drive on Saturday evening. A warrant was issued for his arrest and he was located a short time ago hiding underneath a residence located at 12901 Four Oaks Road. He is charged with Leaving the Scene of a Crash with Serious Bodily Injury, Reckless Driving with Serious Bodily Injury and Driving with License Canceled, Suspended or Revoked. The 71-year-old victim remains in critical condition at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Truck Slams Into Home, Driver On The Run

Detectives are searching for the driver of a Chevy Silverado that rammed into a home located at 12428 Pepperfield Drive today at 6:34 p.m. The truck slammed through the front walls of the home and pinned a 71-year-old woman who was sitting on her couch. Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded and worked for over 30 minutes to free the woman. She was flown to St. Joseph's Hospital in critical condition.
At this time, HCSO detectives are still searching for the man who was driving the truck and fled on foot after the crash. Detectives believe that Robert Devon Siders III, DOB: 03-01-88, may have more information about the crash and are asking that anyone with information about his whereabouts contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 813-247-8200.
