    A Firearm Was Taken During Vehicle Burglary

    A Ruger handgun was stolen from unlocked vehicle.

    HCSO Deputies identified one of the suspects seen in surveillance video burglarizing a vehicle.  Deputies arrested Desmond Hockelberg, white male, DOB: 1/07/1993.

    Charges:  Armed Burglary of Conveyance Firearm (2 Counts), Grand Theft Firearm, Petit Theft ($100 or less)(3 Counts), Grand Theft Third Degree, Fraudulent Use of Personal Information, and Armed Burglary of a Conveyance

    Surveillance Video:

    Suspect #1 changed to a blue sweatshirt in this surveillance video.

    Suspect #1: 

    White or Hispanic Male, 5’10”, thin build, 16-21 years, brown hair and a goatee.  Last seen wearing a white sweatshirt with “Billabong” or “Biggabang” on the front and patterned pants.

    Suspect #2: 

    Black or Hispanic Male, 5’08”, medium build, 16-21 years.  Last seen wearing sweatshirt with “NSHSS” on the front.
    Weapon:  Ruger .40 caliber handgun


    Surveillance video captured a young male suspect enter the victim’s 2006 Ford F-150 through an unlocked door at 5658 Tughill Drive in Tampa on January 22 at 2:30 a.m.  He removed a Ruger .40 caliber handgun and a wallet.  Another male, is seen on surveillance video attempting to open the passenger door a secondary vehicle, but the passenger door was locked.  The suspects were seen walking away from the incident scene.
