Around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 18
, Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the Gibsonton Mobile Home Park in reference to a stolen pickup truck taken from the yard of a residence. An hour later, the victim located his stolen truck at the Gibtown Inn located at 11545 U.S. Highway 41 in Gibsonton.
The victim and a friend attempted to block the truck into the parking lot and get the suspect out of the vehicle.
