On Sunday, March 17
, two unknown black male suspects entered the Walgreens located at 11115 E Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Seffner, told the clerk not to move and loaded multiple cartons of cigarettes into three black garbage bags. Both men wore clothing covering their faces.
Just prior to the theft, another black male entered the store for a few seconds as a lookout, then met with the other two suspects outside. A silver minivan, possibly a Dodge Caravan, was observed parked on the east side of the building just prior to the theft, and could be linked to the suspects.
