SWAT Situation Ends Peacefully
SWAT negotiators worked with the man for two hours to convince him to surrender.

A tip led the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office to the Wigwam RV Park, located at 9201 Williams Road, around 6:30 p.m. Friday. William Swint (DOB: 12-01-1991), a man who had active felony burglary warrants, was located hiding out inside a small camper in the trailer park. Swint barricade himself in the camper after deputies made contact, and he refused to surrender.
SWAT negotiators worked with Swint for nearly two hours to convince him to surrender. Instead, Swint barricaded the door of the trailer. Gas was deployed into the trailer. Swint climbed onto the roof of the trailer, still refusing to surrender. A less lethal weapon was deployed. Immediately after, SWAT deputies seized and handcuffed him. Swint is being checked out at Tampa General Hospital and will be immediately transport to jail. Charges are pending.
HCSO is currently working to obtain a search warrant for the trailer to located any further evidence.
